A Royal Deception -Kyra Seth

This is an excellent read. I enjoyed this book in every way. Whether it’s revenge from Ayush Goel or the bond of friendship between a husband and wife, or their transformation from husband and wife to strangers, friends, friends with benefits, and ultimately lovers. Everything was a spectacle of fireworks. The author wove the narrative with such finesse, skilfully navigating each twist and turn, keeping readers eagerly anticipating what would unfold next.

I have read many books featuring maid-to-Mrs tropes, but none like this one. A fateful marriage unexpectedly led RV to marry the girl he was attracted to, unaware that he would fall for her. The family dynamics in Mirpur Palace captured my heart.

About the Writing and the plot

The author was meticulous with each scene, and the highlight is that she maintained Shivina’s fear of unexpectedly becoming a princess right through to the conclusion. I appreciated Shivina’s simplicity.

I have immensely enjoyed the author’s writing. Full of fun. Ranvijay’s way of addressing Isha was quite striking. Oh! That always brought a smile to my face.

Isha and Diya’s effortless inclusion of Shivina into their circle was charming. The playful exchange between RV and RV, Diya and Isha, was simply delightful. Zarna was perfect. The cheerful little girl captured my heart as well.
